What to Expect from Your Club Fitting Session
When you choose CC Golf for your fitting, you can expect a personalised session focused on your swing, ball flight and equipment requirements. Rather than assuming one club or manufacturer will suit every golfer, we use relevant performance information to help compare the available options.
During your session, we can consider:
-
Clubhead Speed: Helping assess equipment in relation to your speed and delivery.
-
Launch Angle & Spin: Providing useful information about how different combinations influence ball flight.
-
Shaft Flex & Length: Comparing specifications to find an appropriate combination for your swing.
-
Ball Flight & Consistency: Looking beyond individual shots to understand broader performance patterns.
-
Clubhead & Shaft Options: Testing different combinations rather than choosing from specifications alone.
Our Performance Studio uses Foresight GCQuad technology to provide detailed information during the fitting and analysis process.
Find the Right Clubs for Your Ability & Goals
Custom fitting is not reserved for low-handicap golfers. Different players have different equipment requirements, which is why our fitting service is available across a wide range of ages and abilities.
Beginners
If you are investing in clubs as a newer golfer, fitting can help you understand your options rather than choosing equipment based solely on appearance, marketing or another player's set.
Advanced Golfers
More experienced players can use detailed fitting information to compare clubheads, shafts and specifications against their established swing characteristics and preferences.
Intermediate Players
As your game develops, fitting provides an opportunity to compare equipment against your existing performance and consider whether different specifications are appropriate.
Seniors & Juniors
Fitting can also consider individual factors such as swing speed, strength and club specifications rather than assuming standard equipment is appropriate for every player.
If you are unsure whether now is the right time to get fitted, read our guide to what to expect from a custom club fitting in Saltford.
Compare Leading Golf Brands Before You Decide
A recognisable brand name does not automatically tell you which club or specification will suit your swing. Professional fitting allows you to compare different equipment using your own performance information.
CC Golf stocks hardware from leading manufacturers including Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, PING and Wilson. This gives golfers the opportunity to consider different options rather than being restricted to a single manufacturer.
Individual models and availability can change, so if there is a particular club you want to try, contact us before your fitting to check current availability.
You can also explore our golf shop to learn more about the equipment available at CC Golf.
Try Your Fitted Clubs on the Course
Investing in new clubs is a significant decision, which is why our club fitting service includes an on-course trial period. This gives you the opportunity to test your fitted clubs in real playing conditions before making a final commitment.
Launch-monitor data provides useful information, but golfers also care about how equipment looks, feels and performs when they take it onto the course. On-course testing adds that practical experience to the fitting process.
